NEWS and EVENTS

• In case you missed the announcement last month, Camellia now has an online shopping site featuring many lines from the Portland store. Now your out of town friends and family can shop at Camellia. Pass it on...

• Our one year anniversary sale is the weekend of August 2-3, during Fremont Fest. Look for discounts up to 50-75% off. Can you believe it has been a year? Whoa.

• Jewelry has arrived at Camellia Pure Beauty. We are working to add more diverse products, and this month marks the addition of Allium Designs. NE Portland designer Amanda Horton makes beautiful, well made and wearable jewelry in sterling and gold filled silver.

Alima Bronzer (LOCAL)- You asked, and now you shall receive. Camellia now stocks Alima mineral bronzer in Maunaloa, an all around good color for us fair-medium complected Portlanders.

Alchemilla Skincare Kits (LOCAL)- Have you been thinking about trying the Alchemilla line but don't know where to start? Skincare kits are now available for oily, normal, combo and dry skin. Each kit contains sample sizes of 6 products selected for your skin type. It's a great way to get familiar with a bunch of new products for under $30.

Alchemilla Antioxidant Serum (LOCAL)- Wow. This is one of their best selling products, and now I know why. It feels amazing, smells beautiful, and is quickly absorbed. . It immediately hydrates and provides an intensive boost of antioxidants and vitamins that preserve and protect. Premium plant extracts and vitamins C and E strengthen the skin's natural restorative defenses and neutralize age-accelerating free radicals. Alchemilla says that "with continued use, lines and wrinkles are softened, tone and pigmentation are evened and skin looks visibly radiant, supple and healthy.' What more could you want? Other serums cost $$$$, but this one checks in at under $40. (I have samples for as long as they last- just ask).

Arcana Soaps and Perfume Oils (LOCAL)- Camellia now has five kinds of Arcana soaps and three perfume oils that are made exclusively from natural sources. Arcana is a Portland company that excels at decedant perfumery: The soaps have complex scents that are not found in other natural soap brands, and the long lasting perfume oils rival natural perfumes from other companies that cost more than 10x as much. Check out the limited edition "Caffeinated Death" perfume and the Absinthe scented perfume and soap.

Allium Designs (LOCAL)- Camellia is branching out into jewelry, and we are happy to carry beautiful, well made and wearable jewelry from NE Portland designer Amanda Horton.
